Dr. Gu is an ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon at Associated Retina Consultants. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University. He went on to attend medical school and ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Shreveport, where he served as chief resident in his senior year. Afterward, he completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Midwest Retina in Columbus, Ohio.
He is board-certified in ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Association of Ophthalmology.
In his free time, Dr. Gu enjoys horror movies, complaining about the weather, and hiking.
