Help us Transform Lives with the Gift of Sight

One of the most precious gifts we have is the gift of sight, but what would happen if we began to lose this gift? Many of you may know a family or friend who has been diagnosed with a retinal disease, resulting in partial or total loss of vision, and know the struggles that come along with the loss of vision.

The Clive Hamilton Sell Vision Foundation, through the support of Associated Retina Consultants (ARC), aims to better understand and treat retinal diseases that lead to blindness – in order to protect the gift of sight. The Vision Foundation was renamed in 2015 in remembrance of ARC’s dear friend and colleague, Dr. Clive Sell.

Dr. Sell was a contributing founder of Associated Retina Consultants (ARC) in 1987 and later served as Senior Partner until his unexpected passing in 2014. Dr. Sell also helped create the only vitreoretinal fellowship in Arizona. His commitment to research, education and his patients was recognized by all and lives on through the Foundation today. Much of ARC’s success can be contributed to Dr. Sell. He is not only missed as an esteemed colleague and visionary, but as a trusted friend as well.

With the holiday season and the New Year upon us, we ask when you are making your charitable, year-end donations, that you consider making a donation in honor of Dr. Sell’s lifetime of work. A donation is tax deductible and no matter how big or small the contribution, it will play a vital role in the development of education and research to protect the future of vision.  

In addition to research, the Foundation’s mission is to educate and train retina specialists, surgeons and ophthalmic technicians to provide a bright future for the world of retina.  The Foundation brings awareness and education on the prevention of these retinal diseases to the public.
