
In Dr. Bryan relocated to Arizona in 1995 from Jacksonville, Florida, to join Associated Retina Consultants. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine–Phoenix and has been recognized by AZ Top Doctor Magazine as well as by Newsweek’s America’s Best Eye Doctors in both 2021 and 2023.
At Associated Retina Consultants, Dr. Bryan has played a key role as principal investigator in numerous clinical trials focused on advancing treatments for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular disease. His commitment to ophthalmology has led to a published book chapter and articles in respected journals, including Archives of Ophthalmology, Retina, Journal of Vitreoretinal Diseases, Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology, Ophthalmology, and Journal of Clinical Neuro-Ophthalmology.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Bryan enjoys an active life with his wife, Leisa, and their four children. Whether at the gym, ball field, or poolside, he can often be found supporting his kids’ activities. The Bryan family also shares a passion for adventure travel, with favorite pursuits including surfing, snowboarding, and skiing.
